Rocker Rod Stewart, who is already a dad of seven, is hoping to call that number one more. He announced on the British talk show GMTV that he and third wife Penny Lancaster Stewart are trying for one more.

“Yes, we’re trying – we actually tried last night!” Rod, 64, said. “One more and then we’re going to close the office.”

Meanwhile, he’s having fun teaching his youngest son, soon-to-be-four-year-old Alastair Wallace, soccer - or at least trying!

Rod said, He’s just a sweet kid at the moment,” he said. “I did take him out on the football field the other day. He put all his Celtic stuff on, I said, ‘Come on, let’s get running out there,’ and he went, ‘Oh, there’s some flowers for Mummy – must collect them.’ He spent about two hours collecting flowers in a basket for his mum!”

We reported a while back that Celine Dion was pregnant (via an IVF procedure), but it turns out that the process “didn’t take.” However, Celine and Rene are still going to try for another baby.

Rene told Canadian paper Journal de Montreal: We are living the reality of the majority of couples who have to use [IVF]. The process can be long and arduous. But today, we are full of confidence. Celine is more determined than ever.”

The doctor announced the pregnancy very early, and then found out that the transfer of the embryos was unsuccessful. Rene told the paper, “Dr. Zev Rosenwaks believed that the procedure/pregnancy took, but that wasn’t the case. We found out some days later. We were shocked.”

He continued, “But you know Céline. She doesn’t let go.”

We wish the couple the best of luck in their continued process for another baby!

Actress Marley Shelton, who gave birth to her first child, daughter  West Flynn, on September 6 recently posed with her baby girl for Life & Style magazine.

Oddly enough, she said one of her roles, in the movie Sugar & Spice (20010 helped her prepare for motherhood.

“I played a cheerleader who was pregnant with twins,” she said. “I remember doing my research for it, so it’s funny now to be living out motherhood. Thank God I didn’t have twins!”

Of her daughter, she says, West is just full of smiles,” Marley, 35, says. “I could watch her smile for ages. She’s amazing. I love everything about West. She’s just scrumptious.”

Sounds like this new mama is certainly smitten with motherhood!

Jenna Elfman, who is expecting her second child in March, spoke with PEOPLE on Monday at the premiere of Old Dogs about workin’ it while pregnant.

“I found I’m showing the things that are still intact. That helps with my beauty morale,” she said.

“The legs and the arms — those are hanging in there, I’ll show those. That makes me feel like I’m still sexy despite my whole center of gravity being completely altered.”

Her advice to expectant women? “Show what you feel hot about.”

As for her pregnancy, Jenna is glad the first trimester is gone and done with. Now she says, “I’ve been good actually. I finally feel like I have some energy … Normal and good.”

Jenna and hubby Bodhi Elfman are expecting their second son. Story Elias is two.

In just a few weeks, Scrubs star Judy Reyes will be welcoming her baby girl (she is due November 30). But meanwhile, she’s celebrating the impending arrival. The Hot Moms Club hosted a baby shower for the 42-year-old actress in a room overlooking the ocean at Casa del Mar in Santa Monica.

The “Berry Sweet” themed co-ed party featured pink and red decor, chocolate covered strawberries and cupcakes.

Judy spoke with Life & Style about the final stages of her pregnancy: “Just two weeks ago, I started getting into the physically uncomfortable and emotional oh-my-gosh-she’s-coming place.”

She’s also glad she’s welcoming a girl. She said, I wouldn’t know what to do with a boy. Dressing her is going to be a lot of fun!”
