Actress Ali Landry, mom to 23-month old daughter Estela Ines, recently spoke with CBB about life as a mom.

“Our main thing right now it trying to get the child on the potty,” she said at a Giggles and Hugs event. “Peepeeing on that potty, there’s a party in the house when that happens,” she said, adding that she entertains her daughter with stickers and books while “waiting” on the potty.

As for Dad, he’s getting a big surprise this weekend! Ali is surprising him with a trip a deux to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. “I know, Father’s Day without a child, right?” Ali said. “But, sometimes mom and dad need a little alone time.”

Pregnant Nicole Richie and her beau Joel Madden were spotted at the American Idol results show - where Nicole’s dad Lionel Richie performed. Nicole and Joel hung out backstage with third runner up Danny Gokey.

Nicole is sporting just a bitty bump, which is a little deceiving since she is actually due in August, which is right around the corner.

On a recent appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Halle Berry spoke out about motherhood, whether or not she is going to have another one and her daughter’s one-year birthday celebration.

Although she’s previously been quoted saying that she wouldn’t mind giving her daughter Nahla a sibling, she told Jay, “My mind wants another child, but my body is saying something else.”

One thing is for sure. She has absolutely no plans to wed her baby daddy and  beau Gabriel Aubry. After giving the host a definitive “no,” she added: The answer to that is never going to change.”

Nahla recently turned one and Halle said they had a very low-key celebration for the little one. “I don’t really understand why you have to [have a big party]. We had cheap little party hats, from like CVS,” she revealed.

Halle also told Jay, “I am enjoying motherhood. It’s been the best thing that has ever happened to me in my whole life, actually.”

On a recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, actress Reese Witherspoon talked about her most important role: that of mom to 9-year-old Ava Elizabeth and 5-year-old Deacon Reese.

She admits, “I say lots of mom things, all sorts of things I never thought I would say. Like, you know, I’m not your friend — I’m your mother.” She added, “It’s not nice sometimes to be a mom, you have to be really tough. It is a very fine line. You can’t cross over it. Otherwise, they might think they’re winning.”

Though Reese is an award-winning actress, not to mention beautiful and seemingly humble, her kids at times think of her as “a huge dork.” We think she’s amazing, and a great mom, too!

Not only is mode Helena Christensen absolutely gorgeous (and at 40 she just seems to shine), she is also an incredibly involved and doting mother. Cookie magazine’s April issue features Helena and her son, 9-year-old Mingus Lucien (who takes after mama in the good looks department), on the cover. In the article, the model mama reveals: [Mingus] is all that matters. He’s my best friend.”

Helena is passing along some important life lessons to her son - like that of charity work. She and Mingus are greatly involved in the fund-raising work they take part in together for the Chernobyl Children’s Projeect International, which provides help to still-suffering people in regions of Belarus and Ukraine.

Now that’s a wonderful cause and a positive influence to have on a young boy!
