Katie Holmes and daughter Suri were photographed recently, and the photograph got people talking - all because Suri, 3, was seen with a bottle.

Is she too old to be taking a bottle? Experts are split.

Dr. Jennifer Shu, pediatrician and co-author of Food Fights, told Usmagazine.com, “She should have been weaned off the bottle by the time she was one year old. By the time kids are nine months old, they have the physical development and mouth coordination necessary to be able to drink out of a sippy cup or a cup with straw. That development comes pretty early. You don’t force kids to crawl when they can walk.”

But Dr. Harvey Karp, pediatrician, child development specialist and creator of the DVD and book, The Happiest Toddler on the Block, says there is nothing to be concerned about.

He said, “Sucking is normal for kids when they are tired or bored — as long as kids aren’t keeping the bottle in their mouths for hours. Thumb-sucking is more damaging.”

Jennifer Hudson, who just became a mom for the first time three months ago when she welcomed son David Daniel Jr. into the world, recently told Access Hollywood that she’s not stopping there.

“Maybe one more. I’d like to have at least one more, a little girl. I want a girl and then maybe another one. You know, one baby at a time.”

As for where she’s going to raise her son, Jennifer said, “Chicago would definitely be it because that is where all the family is. I feel like he should be surrounded by family. That’s where the biggest support system is and if we live somewhere else, then we will have to bring the family wherever we are.”

It is definitely great to have family around when you are raising a little one!

At Heidi Klum’s 10th Annual Halloween Party at Voyeur in West Hollywood, hubby Seal spoke with Celebrity Baby Blog about the couple’s newest addition, daughter Lou Sulola.

“It’s a funny thing, having another child, because you have three kids who you love dearly and you think to yourself how could you possibly find any more love to give anyone else. The first time you hold your baby in your arms there is this overwhelming sense of otherworldliness that is very, very difficult to describe.”

When asked to spill his wife’s body-after-baby (four babies!) secret, Seal simply said, “You know I’m not going to do that… she just has a knack for all of these things. There isn’t actually anyone quite like her. I certainly haven’t met anyone like her. She just has a knack for it. She is the person that can pretty much do anything and I’ve got used to that within a few months of marriage…she’s the woman, she can do it all.”

So sweet. Seal sounds like such a good dad and husband!

Milla Jovovich spoke with PARADE magazine recently about how her daughter Ever Gabo, 2, has put things in her life into perspective.

She said, “Before you have kids, you create so many problems that are centered in yourself. You’re thinking, ‘Am I ready for this audition? Am I good enough? Even if I don’t get the job, I know I’m going to be really busy at home.”

Thinking of when she’ll have to let her little girl go, she says that it is important to make sure Ever knows she can tell her mama anything.

She said, “I know when Ever goes to school I’ll be letting my little bird go, but I just want to make sure she tells me everything that happened, good or bad.”

That sounds like good parenting advice.

On a recent appearance on the Billy Bush Show radio show, first-time dad Scott Wolf spoke about his seven month old son, Jackson, ‘Jack’ Kayse. He joked with host Billy Bush that due to the boy’s strong surname, “… he’s either going to have to write something or he’s going to really enjoy bourbon and have a regular chair at a pub somewhere.”

Of his son, he said, “I can not…put into words how great a person he is. He literally wakes up with a smile on his face and falls off to sleep with a smile on his face.”

So sweet! He’s lucky to have such a sweet baby boy!
