Rapper Lil’ Wayne (aka Dwayne Carter) and actress Lauren London welcomed a baby boy into the world on Wednesday September 9, a rep for Lauren confirmed in a statement to PEOPLE.

The statement said that the actress had a “healthy baby boy.” Lauren’s publicist added,” “Everyone is happy and well.”

The baby is the first child for Lauren, 24, who stars on 90210, and the third for Lil’ Wayne who is already dad to daughter Reginae, 10, son Dwayne III, 10-1/2 months from previous relationships and he is expecting another child with songstress Nivea.

No details about the baby’s birth  - including a name and weight - were revealed

It’s only been a few days since their son Sparrow was born, and proud parents Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are already gushing about him to the world.

The couple took to Twitter to share their feelings about their newest addition.

Nicole wrote: “What a great day to come back on Twitter. Thank you everyone for your well wishes. I love my family!!”

Joel added: “1st day of his life & my son is already a trending topic on twitter… That’s right son, ur just like your old man.”

Sparrow James Midnight Madden was born on very early Wednesday morning; he joins big sis Harlow Winter Kate Madden.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden welcomed the newest member of their family — a baby boy!

On the Richie’s Web site, the couple posted the following statement about their new arrival: “In the middle of night, the very early hours of September 9, 2009, Sparrow James Midnight Madden was born to Nicole Richie and Joel Madden. He weighs 7 lbs. 14 oz. Nicole, Joel, Harlow and Sparrow are all doing well. Thank you for all of your good wishes.”

Before his son was born, Joel told PEOPLE, “We’re very, very blessed. We’ve already had one healthy kid, and that’s all you can ask for as a parent – healthy kids.”

Tisha Campbell-Martin got a surprise today - her baby boy! Although her son was not due until September 21, he decided to join the world a bit early - he was born today in Los Angeles at 10:20 a.m. Her rep confirmed the news to PEOPLE recently.

Tisha and her husband Duane Martin named their baby boy - who weighed in at 9 lbs., 9 oz. - Ezekiel Czar Martin.

Of this pregnancy, the Rita Rocks star had told PEOPLE, “I’m enjoying it. I’m 40, and having a baby! Every moment, every nauseous moment, everything that is good and not so good about being pregnant, I’m enjoying.”

Actress Marley Shelton, who stars in the CBS series Eleventh Hour and who was features in the movie A Perfect Getaway, has a new role — that of mom!

Marley and her husband, producer Beau Flynn, welcomed a baby girl on Sunday, September 6,  in Los Angeles, according to PEOPLE.

Marley’s rep shared a few details about the new baby - she weighed 9 pounds at birth and measured 21 inches long. The couple named their new daughter West Flynn.

In a statement, Beau said, “She’s an absolutely miraculous, gorgeous bundle of pure love.” He added that the new family is “doing great.”
