Candace Parker who is the current WNBA reigning MVP and rookie of the year and her husband Shelden Williams of the Minnesota Timberwolves have welcomed their first child into this world, a little girl. The newborn was born in Los Angeles, weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces and was 20 inches long. Basketball is sure to be in her future.

The couple it seems tried to plan the pregnancy so that Candace would give birth and be able to get back on the court as soon as possible at the beginning of the season. The next WNBA season starts on June 6th and Candace is determined to get back out there and plans to as soon as the doctor give her the okay.

Candace Parker and Shelden Williams are excited now that their daughter has come. In a statement released by the new mom she states, “Shelden and I are thrilled. This is such a life-changing moment for us, we feel blessed to have a healthy and beautiful baby girl.”

Congrats to the couple! Now what is her name?

Comedian Wanda Sykes and her wife Alex welcomed twins on Monday. Wanda’s rep confirmed the news to PEOPLE today.

Alex delivered the fraternal twins - one boy and one girl! They named their baby girl Olivia Lou. She weighed in at 6 lbs., 7 oz. and was 19 inches long. Her brother Lucas Claude was 7 lbs., 9 oz. and 20 inches long.

The rep told PEOPLE that “All are happy and healthy and at home.”

The twins are the first children for the couple who wed on October 25 of last year.

Actor Tobey Maguire and his wife had a busy Mother’s Day weekend. The Spider-Man star’s wife, Jennifer Meyer, a jewelry designer, gave birth to the couple’s second child on Saturday - a baby boy!

His rep confirmed the news to Usmagazine.com and said, “I can confirm the Maguires had a baby boy today and the family is healthy and happy.”

No details about the baby’s birth were revealed, such as the weight and length. Even the baby’s name is yet to be announced!

Tobey and Jennifer’s new baby boy joins big sister Ruby Sweetheart, who is  two.

Julie Bowen and her husband Scott Phillips are seeing double after the delivery of their twin boys this morning. Boys must run in the family becuase the twins - who the couple named John and Gus - join big brother Oliver McLanahan, 2.

PEOPLE announced the news this morning. No other details regarding the boys’ birth and delivery were revealed as of yet.

Julie’s due date was actually in April. It is surprising that she went past it, especially since she was carrying twins.

We hope the new additions are happy and healthy. When we see pictures, we’ll share them!

Grey’s Anatomy star Chyler Leigh and her husband Nathan West welcomed their third child on Thursday May 7. The couple welcomed baby girl Anniston Kae, who weighed in at 7 lbs., 1 oz.

Anniston has two older siblings - Noah Wilde, 5, and Taelyn  Leight, 2 1/2.

At just 27 with three kids already, Chyler said, “By the time this last one will be 18, I’ll be 45!”

Hubby Nathan selected the baby girl’s unique moniker. In February, a month after they announced the sex, Chyler said the couple  “had an ongoing bet that whoever correctly guesses the gender, gets to pick the first name of the baby. The runner up gets the middle name.”
