Former Olympic gymnast Shannon Miller became a mom for the first time on October 28 - a bit early. She was not due until November 5. She and her husband John Falconetti welcomed their baby boy who they named John Rocco Falconetti last Wednesday at 6:46 p.m.

On Friday, Shannon, 32, posted a message on Twitter that stated, “Home with our new baby! 7 lbs., 11 oz of cuteness!

She also told Inside Gymnastics, “There is nothing that compares to seeing your child for the first time…hearing him cry and holding him in our arms. We feel so blessed and are excited to begin this new adventure!”

New mom Amanda Beard, a seven-time Olympic medal winning swimmer, is showing off her latest - and greatest - accomplishment to date: The birth of her baby boy Blaise Ray Brown, who is just nine days old!

The proud mama posted two pictures of the cutie pie on her Facebook page, and she Twittered about life as a mom. She wrote that its “so fun being a mommy.” She doesn’t even seem to mind the lack of sleep. She continued, Blaise thought it was time to play last night and stayed awake till 3:30am.”

It sounds like he has his days and nights mixed up, but with a darling look like that, we bet Amanda doesn’t mind getting up with him!

Look at all that hair!

Olympic-medal winning swimmer Amanda Beard and her husband photographer Sacha Brown welcomed a baby boy today at 10:54 a.m. Amanda shared the news exclusively with PEOPLE and sharing some of baby’s information.

Named Blaise Ray Brown, the baby boy weighed 7 lbs., 12 oz. and is 19 3/4 inches long.

Amanda told PEOPLE, “I was in labor for about 16 hours and it was all worth it. He is happy and healthy and everything went as planned. It was the most amazing experience that Sacha and I have ever experienced! We are so happy to be new parents! This is gonna be the best adventure ever.”

Golf pro Annika Sorenstam welcomed a baby girl this morning at 3:30 a.m. Annika must have been very excited to share the news - she posted the info on her blog within an hour after giving birth to her first child!

She and husband Mike McGee, retired golf pro, named their daughter Ava Madelyn McGee. She weighed in at 6 lbs., 10 oz. and 19 inches

Annika  wrote: “We are all doing well and we truly appreciate the support we have received. We are VERY excited about our new addition and will keep everyone posted in the coming weeks.”

Sounds like the new family is doing great! Congrats!

Boston Red Sox’s second baseman Dustin Pedroia and his wife Kelli recently welcomed a new addition to their family — a baby boy, according to MLB.com! The child is the first for the couple.

Baby boy Dylan Pedroia was born on Tuesday, August 18. Kelli experienced a bit of a threat of pre-term labor last month, but the baby was born at 7 pounds and Dustin took a last-minute flight and was able to be there for the birth.

The team manager Terry Francona (pictured here with Dustin) is thrilled for the couple and said, “I told him his first responsibility is Kelli and that child. We don’t know when he’s going to come back, and he can take his time, because having your first child, that’s a great thing in life, and we’re excited for him.”
