Snooki wants Lorenzo to have a “normal life”
The Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi we know loves to live large, but the new mom says she has different dreams and goals for her baby boy.

“It’s crazy ‘cause, you know me, I always wanted to have a good time,” the Jersey Shore star told TODAY in her first live interview since giving birth. “’Where’s my next party? What am I going to do tonight?’ And now it’s just like, you know, ‘I love my baby. What can we do with him?’ It’s just totally different.”

Snooki’s fiancé and baby daddy Jionni LaValle confirms his wife-to-be’s transformation. “She loves [the baby],” he said. “She’s a great mom.”

Snooki and Jionni welcomed their first child two months ago. They gave their little meatball a “normal baby name,” Lorenzo Dominic LaValle, and have turned into the perfect little family.
Some of the old Snooki remains, however. “She wanted to look good [in the delivery room],” Jionni said. “You know, makeup, lipstick, everything. I said, ‘Nicole, you’re giving birth!’”
The 4-foot, 9-inch reality star even brought heels along “just in case,” but her feet “just blew up,” she admitted. “I couldn’t [wear them].”

The new parents always make sure baby Lorenzo “looks good,” but they don’t want him to be bombarded by paparazzi.

“Right now it’s fine, while he’s this young,” Jionni said. “But once school starts, when he gets a little older, I kind of want him to branch off from that. Nicole can do what she has to do … I kind of just want him to live like a normal lifestyle.”

Snooki agreed. “We want him to have a normal life where he goes to school, you know, has friends, girlfriends. I want him to have the learning experiences that we did growing up. So I want it to be as normal as possible.”
