There’s no doubt Jennie Garth benefited from the divorce diet! The celebrity mom of three dropped around 30 pounds after she and Peter Facinelli split. And she’s planning to keep it off my penciling in some mommy me time!
At at ELLE‘s Women in Hollywood event in Beverly Hills on October 15, Jennie told Us Weekly, “Maintaining is just about consistency now. Being so happy and feeling so good about the way I feel and the way I look, I don’t want to lose that, so it’s about penciling me in every day to my life.”
And she’s not just being literal. Jennie has learned to make time for herself every day, just as she does for her girls. She explained that she uses a color-coded calender to keep her kids’ schedules organized. Now she does that for herself, too. She explained, “Everyone has a color. I have a color now, and it’s about my fitness and my well-being.”
She encourages other busy moms and women to make time for themselves, too, saying, “You just do it. It’s part of your day. I really encourage women to do that and to look at their day and try to fit in an hour a day somewhere just for themselves.”
