Drew Lachey explains why he moved his family out of L.A.
Drew Lachey moved his family from L.A. six years ago and he’s never looked back. But the family is headed back to L.A. so they can stay together.
The celebrity dad to children Isabella Claire, 6, and Hudson Nicholas, 2, with wife Lea, told WonderWall, “I just can’t be away from my family for that long. I spend all day, every day pretty much with my kids. If I’m rehearsing, that’s one thing, but what do I do for the other 16 hours of the day?”
He even credits his kids for helping him concentrate on his dance moves for DWTS: “I wouldn’t be able to focus on what I’m trying to do with the show if I’m worrying about what’s going on back home. It’s just one more adventure for the Lachey family!”
Drew said that his decision to move the family back to Cincinnati was “by far one of the best decisions we ever made in our lives. If we’re able to give our daughter and our son even five more minutes of innocence, then the move was all worth it.”
