New mom Giuliana Rancic gushes about “the smell”
Giuliana Rancic is one happy new mama — all she has to do is inhale.
During a recent interview with PEOPLE, Giuliana, who welcomed son Edward Duke with husband Bill three weeks ago via surrogate, admitted that she just can’t get enough of that baby smell!

She said it’s her favorite part of motherhood thus far: “I love the way he smells. There is nothing like baby smells.”
She added, “Maybe it’s the shampoo, I don’t know. Babies just have the smell.”
She also loves cuddling her little man, saying, “I love holding him — there’s nothing like looking into his eyes.” She said his eyes have already changed from brown to a dark blue hue. Pretty!

Giuliana said she and Bill already hold the key to getting their little man down to sleep: “He loves head rubs. He can be so alert and awake, but the second Bill rubs his head — he’s out!”
