Kate Hudson says her kids are “polar opposites”
Celebrity mom-of-two Kate Hudson is back and better than ever on the cover of the October issue of Harper’s Bazaar. In the article, she talks about her sons Ryder, 8, and Bingham, 15 months, and more.
Kate revealed her sons couldn’t be more different, saying, “Ryder and Bing are polar opposites. In order to get a smile out of Ryder, you had to work really hard when he was a baby. Bing is just smiling–he’s happy, he’s joyous. Ryder, I knew he was going to be an artist. But Ryder is comfortable in his own skin.”

It turns out that her pregnancies could have been the first indication that her boys would be different. She said, “Bing was a more difficult pregnancy than Ryder… With Bing I was really nauseous. He also moved around so much that I felt like I was in Aliens. He was just rockin’ out.”
But Kate admits that she was a different mom in her twenties when she had her firstborn than she is not in her early thirties, saying, “I had Ryder at 24 so, you know, a lot happened in my 20s. I was working a lot, and there were times that were extremely tumultuous. So 30 kind of felt like ‘Oh, okay.’ I had a different kind of confidence.”
