Pregnant Claire Danes says she looks “a little knocked up”
During a recent appearance on Live! with Kelly, Claire Danes spoke about her pregnancy, but wouldn’t reveal the baby’s sex.
She told Kelly of the baby’s gender: “It is a human being, which is a profound relief.”

Claire added that she is “feeling good and balanced.”
She also said she’s had to keep her “soccer ball” baby bump hidden for now on her show Homeland. She said her pregnancy will not be written into the show, saying, “I’ve been pretty fortunate thus far — we’re in the middle of filming our second season and luckily we’ve been able to conceal it.”

She added, “It’s now getting to the point where I’m looking a little knocked up. They haven’t written it in, but they’ll be able to manipulate it in post and do some CGI trickery and make Carrie not so pregnant.”
Claire is due at the beginning of next year. This will be her first child with her husband, Hugh Dancy.
