Nick Lachey has wanted to become a father for a “long, long time”
Awwwww… We love a man who can express his emotions! Especially when it comes to fatherhood. Nick Lachey is the latest to win our hearts.
The dad-to-be recently opened up to In Touch magazine about his impended fatherhood as wife Vanessa gets closer to her September due date. Nick said, “I’m not scared of any of it. Everyone says I’m not going to get any sleep, but I’ve slept enough! I’m ready to take it all on.”

He added, “I’ve wanted to be a dad for a long, long time. It’s going to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so I just want to relish every piece of it. Even diapers.”

Nick even gushed about Vanessa, saying, “She’s been a trooper. Of course, I’ve been giving her a lot of foot rubs and back massages. Pretty much anything I can do to make her comfortable.”
