Divorce is expensive… and Tom Cruise — now on his third marital separation — knows that all too well. The super-famous actor was ordered to pay Katie Holmes a ton of money for child support, but he’s reportedly content with the settlement.

The details of Tom and Katie’s divorce settlement were leaked to TMZ, and Tom will pay $400,000 a year – plus medical and dental costs, insurance, education expenses and more – until his 6-year-old daughter turns 18. Katie has primary custody of Suri.
Katie returns to the Catholic Church
It’s a lot of money but likely far less than what Tom would have dished out for a lump sum payout, according to TMZ.
How Katie foreshadowed the split in interviews
“Tom is very happy and relieved that he is moving forward,” a source told E! Online. “His priority is being a good father and this settlement will make sure that continues.”
