In a clip from this week’s Teen Mom episode, Catelynn, 20, talked of pursuing a career in social work to help other women who are considering adoption.
“I have a calling for pregnant teenagers that are placing for adoption,” the Baker College student told Us Weekly. “[Giving up Carly] and doing the show helped me realize what I want to do for the rest of my life.”

Catelynn hopes to help more than just teenagers. She was in the delivery room with a Michigan woman gave birth to a baby girl – a child who was adopted by the same couple who adopted Catelynn and Tyler’s baby three years ago.

“I always wanted Carly to have siblings,” Catelynn told the magazine. Added Tyler, “Catelynn was involved in this birth — she was there — and it was really special.”
