In a new interview in Parents magazine’s September issue, Jennifer Garner, celebrity mom of three, reveals why as a working mom, she “can’t complain.”
Her new film, The Odd Life of Timothy Green, explores themes of infertility and adoption and Jennifer said she hopes the film sheds light on the “heartbreak” women go through. She added, “I do love that the movie is so positive about adoption and has something to say about how a child can come into your life in so many ways.”
She said, “Once they’re yours, they’re yours.”
Of balancing her work with raising three kids including baby Samuel, Jennifer “can’t complain.” She said, “I think I have it easier than most. … People make time on sets for me to stop and feed the baby. My kids came every day to my trailer when I was doing this film, and I have a husband who does what I do, so he can travel and take the kids to the set.”
She added, “So, as far as being a working mom goes, I can’t complain.”
As for being a mom the third time around, Jen said, “Oh, it does get easier. You do get more confident as you go along, but I think a lot of that has to do with expecting less perfection from yourself.”
Do you strive for perfection in motherhood?
