Bill Rancic worries about his surrogate “smoking crack”
According to PEOPLE, dad-to-be Bill Rancic admitted he worried about a surrogate carrying his son for nine months.
At the annual Vail Breast Cancer Awareness Group luncheon on Sunday, the Rancic’s spoke publicly about their choice to welcome a baby via surrogate.

Bill joked to the audience, “Giuliana was more concerned about the surrogate eating fried chicken. I’m not worried about her eating fried chicken – I’m worried about her smoking crack.”
But Giuliana added, “For anyone who’s thought about surrogacy, it is scary. It’s like having a babysitter 24 hours a day for nine months.”

The couple also agreed that they feel a special connection to the surrogate their chose and plan on staying in contact with her after she brings their baby boy into the world.
Bill said, “It’s a tremendous gift. Certainly we want to show her our gratitude. We plan on maintaining a relationship with her.”

As for baby names, the couple is considering many sources to find the perfect name to suit their son. Bill is looking at “NFL quarterback names and the names of Fortune 500 CEOs” according to PEOPLE, while Giuliana finds a name like “Vail” or “Denver” fitting for their future son.
