…Mila! Kourtney and Scott, together for six years now, made a last-minute decision on their baby girl’s name after she arrived on July 8, according to Us Weekly.
An insider said that the couple had originally planned to name their daughter Mila. The birth was “relaxed and easy,” says a family source, but then Mom and Dad unexpectedly came up with the name Penelope Scotland Disick.
Penelope is a Greek name, according to BabyHold.com, that comes from the Greek words pene (meaning “web”) and ?ps (meaning “eye”). And the middle name of Scotland as a middle name, says a source close to the family, was a creative way to honor the baby’s father, Scott.
