Kelsey Grammer, wife Kayte welcome a daughter
Welcome to the world, Faith Evangeline Elisa! The baby girl is the daughter of Kelsey Grammer and his wife Kayte. And while the happy parents celebrate Faith’s arrival, they also mourn the loss of her twin.
Kelsey gets his first tattoo at age 57
Kayte lost the son she was also carrying shortly after she and Kelsey revealed the news that they were expecting twins. “This was not something we cared to make known publicly at the time,” said Kelsey, 57.
Kelsey’s ex, Camille, is keeping his surname
“It was unspeakably painful and we know that people will understand our desire to keep the news private then, as we know the will respect our privacy in this matter now,” said Kayte, 31. “A glorious birth with a lingering sadness is ours today. We choose to celebrate the life that has been given us. We proudly introduce our Faith to the world today looking forward to the days ahead and the children yet to come.”
Kayte also suffered a miscarriage in October 2010, while Kelsey was still married to Camille
Kelsey and Kayte tied the knot in February 2011, and renewed their vows last month in Las Vegas. “We are thrilled,” the couple announced in the statement. “Mother and child are in excellent health.”
Kelsey also has a grandchild, Emmett Emmanuel, under the age of 1!
