According to PEOPLE, Katie and Suri celebrated the Fourth of July in her new NY apartment with Katie’s parents, “A smiling Martin Holmes was spotted bringing a custom-made cake along with plates, forks and napkins to the three-bedroom apartment where his daughter and granddaughter had moved as Katie filed for divorce from Tom Cruise.”

Martin revealed that the family is “fine, thank you.”
Later that day, Katie was spotted pushing Suri in a grocery cart and picking up more barbecue supplies from Whole Foods when a reporter asked how she was going, according to New York’s Daily News. She responded, “I’m all right. Thank you.”
Later in the day, an eyewitness observed Katie and Suri getting ice cream at Sundaes and Cones in New York’s East Village neighborhood. The source said, “Katie looked happy and was friendly to the customers and staff while Suri sat on her mom’s lap.”
It seems like Katie is moving on.
