Katy Perry wants to be a mother someday
Since news broke that Russell Brand-Katy Perry split (which will be finalized in the coming days) was due to the fact that he wanted kids and she wasn’t ready, Katy is talking openly about it in her new documentary, Katy Perry: Part Of Me.
In the flick she says, “I want to be a mother, but now’s not the right time. A baby can’t have a baby, and I’m still a baby.”

The 27-year-old added: “I thought when I find that person that’s going to be my life partner, they will be accepting of who I am and supportive of what I do… and I won’t ever have to choose [between that person and my career]. They won’t be threatened or have weird motives. Then I started to realise, that’s not true.”
