The actress tweeted kind wishes today to her estranged husband, Twilight star Peter Facinelli. “Happy Father’s Day Peter. Our girls are so lucky to have a daddy like you! Hope you have a great day with them:) @peterfacinelli”

Jennie and Peter both believe that it’s important to keep the kids out of the separation. “We are great parents together, so when it’s about the kids, it’s wonderful,” the responsible mom said of their daughters, Luca, 14, Lola, 9 and Fiona, 5½.“We make it very clear to them they don’t have to choose sides. They can go wherever they want and be with whom they want.”
