Do you think Bristol Palin is a “normal mom?” The 21-year-old DWTS-alum insists her coming reality show will prove that’s exactly what she is.
In her upcoming Lifetime reality TV series, Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp, she says viewers will be able to see the real Bristol, a good mom.
On Good Morning America recently, Bristol said, “I think I have tough skin and I know that God is on my side and my faith is everything to me. It’s just the root of my life and my family’s life and I think it will do well.”
She added that the negativity she hears from the media/public fuels her fire, saying, “When people are talking poorly about me, I think it just gives me more motivation to want to do more and want to speak up even louder and they’re just not doing themselves well by doing that.”
The self-proclaimed “grounded, normal mom” says her own mom Sarah Palin has her back when it comes to her career: “She supports me and she knows that I have good judgment so she is definitely in support of it.”
As for son Tripp, he didn’t seem to mind being filmed for the new show. Bristol said, “Tripp didn’t care if the cameras were there or not. He’s still going to be rowdy, he’s still going to be a little terror, but it was fun. It was a lot of fun.”
