Hilary Duff says motherhood turned her into a “big mushy ball”
New mom Hilary Duff says that motherhood has changed her … in ways she never expected.
In an interview with E!, Hilary gushed about newborn son Luca Cruz with husband Mike Comrie, saying he’s changed her life forever: “There’s really no words to describe it. It’s the most incredible thing every day. It softens you so much. I feel like a big mushy ball.”

She also revealed that Mike has been a great Dad so far, saying, “He’s really incredible. He’s so hands-on, so thoughtful, so loving. He’s really a natural, it’s incredible. I got really lucky.”

Though she finds it tough to leave her baby boy’s side, she and Mike are making date night a priority. She said, “It’s weird scheduling so much because we used to do things on a whim and now we have to schedule. But it’s good. It’s really important for your relationship.”
When the conversation turned to the topic of having more kids, Hilary laughed, saying, “Obviously we want more kids but we want to really enjoy Luca. I’m young. I still want to work and I feel like I have a lot to do.”
