Nicole Richie on when “reality kicked in”
Nicole Richie has gone from a hard-partying youngster to a responsible mom of two. And she just got a reality check on that fact.
Nicole tweeted recently: “Was at a dinner party when the young cool 20 year olds left early to go to another party. I was not invited. Reality kicked in.”

But Nicole has bigger worries than not be invited to a party with the “cool” kids — she recently waxed the woes of traveling with two young kids in tow. She said of flying to Sydney to join husband Joel Madden as he films The Voice: “I get anxiety every time I get on a plane with my kids because you just never know what’s going to happen. There is no magic way of getting through it. You get on that plane and everybody looks at you. It’s like, ‘How dare you bring a child on this plane’ It’s horrible.”
