Alanis Morissette on breastfeeding, co-sleeping
Alanis Morissette is all about giving her son Ever, 16 months, a natural upbringing.
During a recent visit to the The Billy Bush Show, the first-time mom gushed about the attachment parenting style and her choices to breastfeed and co-sleep with son Ever (along with husband and father of her child, Mario Souleye Treadway).
She said, “I’ll breastfeed and I’ll be breastfeeding until my son is finished and he weans,” Morissette said of 16-month-old Ever (with rapper Mario “Souleye” Treadway).
She added, “I think it affords the child, when he grows up, to have a lot less therapy to go to. For me, I protect his safety and his well-being and his attachment. That stage of development is a very important stage.”

She also boasted the benefits of co-sleeping, saying, “We’re definitely skin-on-skin connected as much as possible.”
She also is keeping her skin-on-skin time with her man going strong! She joked, “He’s a very robust, virile man. You gotta take care of your husband!”
