New dad Jay-Z just wants to “hang out” with Blue Ivy
Jay-Z is a busy man, but right now he really only wants to do one thing: spend time with baby girl Blue Ivy.
Instead of talking her up or writing songs about her, Jay-Z just wants to chill with his baby girl. He told Billboard of becoming a father, “I thought I would be more inspired to have all these new feelings to talk about, but I really just want to hang out with my daughter. I want to enjoy this time for what it is.”

During a recent interview with Oprah, Jay-Z opened up about his plans for fatherhood, saying , “I imagine I’ll take things I learned from my mom and things I’ve learned from raising my nephews and apply that.”
But then he added, “Then at the end of the day, I just know I’ll probably have the worst, spoiled little kid ever.”
He continued on about the dreaded teenage years, saying, “Everyone imagines they’ll be a great dad until their [kids are] teenagers. [They say], ‘Get away from me, Dad. You’re embarrassing me.’”
Can you imagine Blue Ivy as a teenager?
