“Everyone deserves a second chance,” the Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew told Celebrity Baby Scoop. Rachel’s first child is due on May 12, and she can’t wait. “I’ve moved on and I hope other people will too and see that I am doing my best to try and have a normal life.”

The “other woman” finds it “odd” that people haven’t moved on from the Tiger Woods scandal, which happened three years ago. “People are going to think what they want to think,” she remarked. “All I care about is the people that I know. The people that know me are very supportive of me and they love me.”

Rachel, 37, and hubby Matt Hahn are expecting a little girl and have already decided on a name, but they’re “going to wait and share her name after she’s born. You never know, we might see her and want to change our minds!”
One thing Rachel did disclose is that her daughter will have a boy’s name. “We loved it and thought it was such a strong name,” she said. “We love it and if other people don’t like it that’s fine,” Rachel added, referring to the flack Jessica Simpson received for naming her new daughter Maxwell.

And Rachel knows all too well how important a name can be. “The tough thing is that my name precedes me,” she said. “People are always like, ‘I know you from somewhere,’ and then when they figure it out, they have a preconceived notion of me.”

So what does Rachel want people to know about her? “You’ve got to give everybody a chance! Not just me, but you’ve got to give everybody a fair shake because that’s what I think they would want in their lives. I’m doing my best to try and get on the right path and have a family and be happy and make other people happy. I’m trying my best and everyone deserves a second chance. I hope that people can see me as not so much of a threat. I hope I’m forgiven and I want people to know I’m trying my best.”
