Jack Osbourne’s new role: Diaper changer
Can you imagine Jack Osbourne as a doting dad? Well, apparently he’s taken the role head on — and has become quite the master diaper changer since he and fiancee Lisa Stelly welcomed daughter Pearl Clementine on April 24.
In an article in HELLO! magazine, new parents Lisa and Jack talked about their baby girl and Jack’s hands-on fathering.

Of welcoming Pearl after being induced a week after her due date, Lisa said, “The baby was sunny-side up — in a posterior position — so I had back labor, which is the worst thing ever. It feels like two hooks are in your back with an anchor.”
Jack, who was very “relaxed” during the delivery, said that after 10 hours of labor before getting an epidural, “Lisa only pushed for seven minutes.”

They also talked about how they came to name their baby girl Pearl Clementine. Her first name, which was “inspired” by Lisa’s sister, wasn’t a sure thing at first.
Lisa said, “Jack didn’t like [Pearl] at first. He liked Moxie. That could be the name of a Bratz doll. I was like, ‘Heck no.’”
Jack added, “I thought Pearl sounded like a grandma, but then I thought it would be really cute to have a little girl with a grandma name, so I came around to it.”
As for her daughter’s middle name, Lisa explained, “Her middle name is Clementine. It took us a really long time to choose that, but I think it’s perfect.”
And Lisa gushed about how Jack has jumped into fatherhood with both feet. She said, “He gets up to change her [diaper], burp her and put her back to sleep. I’ve only changed three nappies — Jack’s done all the others.”
What do you think about the name Pearl Clementine?
