Kelly Preston: “I love nursing so much”
Her son Benjamin is 16 months old, but Kelly Preston is in no hurry to start the weaning process.
“When I stop, it’s going to be really hard on me. I love nursing so much,” 49-year-old Kelly told People. “I love the closeness and knowing that I’m giving him the best as far as nutrients and antibodies. And he really loves it, too.”
Selma Blair not shy about public breastfeeding
Kelly believes in co-sleeping and feeding on demand. Ben shares a bed with his mom and dad (John Travolta) and enjoys a couple of nighttime feedings in addition to the four or five he gets during the day. “He’ll come up and point and go, ‘Mama, more,’” Kelly said. “It’s so cute!”
Alyssa Milano loves to breastfeed, but not in public
And Ben likes his breast milk with a variety of foods including filet mignon, scallops, salmon and organic vegetables.
“New words are coming so fast,” said the proud mom, who recently partnered with non-profits Best for Babes and Healthy Child Healthy World to help encourage mothers to adopt a healthy lifestyle. “He loves ‘B’ words — basketball, bus, belly button, bird. He talks to birds and looks at them in the sky, and loves airplanes, buses, balls and lizards … and his favorite star is Elmo.”
