After 11 years of marriage and months of breakup rumors, Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth have officially called it quits.
The Twilight Saga actor, 38, and Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, 39, made the announcement in a statement reported by Us Weekly.

“While we have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love and devotion to our children. We remain dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together. We ask for privacy and respect during this time.” The “beautiful daughters” are Luca, 14, Lola, 9, and Fiona, 5.

A source close to the couple told Scallywag & Vagabond that Peter was having a “short, torrid affair” with a 20-something Vancouver woman he met while filming the last of the Twilight films.

They told People in an exclusive statement: “There are rumors out there which are completely untrue and hurtful to our family. We just want to make it very clear — there are no third parties involved.”
