Snooki is pregnant! The Jersey Shore star is about three months along, claims the New York Post. And the reality star’s baby daddy is boyfriend Jionni LaValle.

Snooki, 24, has been denying pregnancy rumors for a long time and as recently as this month, when she went on Good Morning America to dispute a story published in Star. “I definitely do want kids, but I’m not pregnant,” she told GMA‘s Lara Spencer. “Being pregnant should be a real thing and a happy thing.”

The Snooki we know (and secretly love) usually makes headlines for drunk-and-disorderly conduct, so the pregnancy news is a bit of a surprise to diehard fans. And it’s a bit of gold for Snooki. The Post claims that Snooki sold her baby news to Us Weekly (after shopping payouts from other mags) and is attempting to reinvent herself as a celebrity mommy, a la Kourtney Kardashian according to the Post.

No one is quite sure how a pregnancy will affect the MTV spinoff show featuring Snooki and Jersey Shore costar JWoww. “MTV went into crisis mode after they found out,” a source told the Post. “They’re trying to hide it because it would greatly affect the creative direction of the show.”
One MTV reality mom won’t be on TV much longer
Snooki and JWoww spoke to Us Weekly about their new show. “We want it to be different than Jersey Shore, so it’s not always going to be at the club, drinking and partying,” JWoww told the magazine. “You guys know we can drink, you know we can party.”

“You’ve only seen the party side of us,” Snooki added. “You haven’t seen this side of us, which is — sober. And normal. Me and Jenni are in serious relationships, so obviously we’re not going to be wanting to go to the shore all the time, we want to settle down.”

When People inquired about the pregnancy rumors, Snooki’s rep responded, “No comment.”
