J.R. Martinez won’t choose silly celebrity name for baby
The first baby is on the way for Dancing With The Stars champion J.R. Martinez and girlfriend Diana Gonzalez-Jones. The baby — a girl, is due to arrive in May, and the parents-to-be are close to selecting a name.

“We won’t name her Apple Cider or Salami,” the 28-year-old veteran told People at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. “It won’t be our favorite dish or our favorite getaway or favorite car or show.”
The name won’t be weird… but it will be special. “It will be something really close and personal to us that feels like we’re giving something to her that is very special,” J.R. said.

The couple won’t make a final decision until they meet their daughter. “She’ll probably come out and we’ll be like, ‘That’s the name,’” the proud dad-to-be added. “We have narrowed it down to two names and we agree on it, which is good. I hear that traditionally, when it comes to the name picking, that’s when the disagreements occur. But I think it will be a nice flow.”

Diana is six months along now and feeling good about the pregnancy. “The first five months, I wasn’t showing, she wasn’t really moving too much,” said Diana. . Now, she’s kicking all the time. She’s like, ‘I’m here, I’m coming.’ And it’s like, oh yeah, it’s coming soon!”
J.R. and Diana are moving to Sherman Oaks, Calif. and planning the nursery. “We don’t want to douse her in pink,” J.R. said. “That is the cool thing we agree on. We want, like, light pink, but not all pink.”
