Divorce is difficult. Telling the kids about a divorce is worse. Heidi Klum and Seal were faced with the daunting task of telling their four children that Mom and Dad were going their separate ways.
Seal promises that things won’t get ugly
In an interview with Access Hollywood Live, Seal told Billy Bush and he and Heidi have begun discussing their separation with Leni, 7, Henry, 6, Johan, 5, and Lou, 2.

“Just explaining to them that things will be different, you know, without going into too much detail,” Seal, 48, said. “But a lot of things won’t change.”

A source close to he couple tells Us Weekly that the children “are upset” by the split, but their welfare “will always come first” for Heidi and Seal. In fact, Seal intends to keep a home base in Los Angeles.

“The main thing,” Seal continued, “is to make sure that they feel that they’re loved, make sure that they understand that their parents love each other, make sure that they understand if there are any changes, it is absolutely nothing to do with them.”
