Wearing a blue-and-white Monique Lhuillier gown to the event, Sarah Michelle told E! correspondent Giuliana Rancic: “I didn’t try on that many dresses. I had them all lined up and I was working and my 2-year-old walked in, looked at this dress and said, ‘Mama, wear this!’ So I put it on and said, ‘Okay!’”

Michelle added that she let her little darling select her accessories, too: “She really went for it. She chose the bag, the shoes, all of it.”
Sarah Michelle walked the red carpet alone, explaining that hubby Freddie Prinze Jr. was at home watching football! Was she mad about this? Not in the slightest.
She said, “This is the worst date night I could possibly think of.”
