Michael Jackson’s daughter wants to be a star
Michael Jackson‘s beloved daughter, Paris Jackson, wants to be like her father… sort of.
During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Paris admitted that she wants to be a performer — but she wants to act, not sing.

“My dad was in the [1998] movie Moonwalker and I knew he could sing really well, but I didn’t know he could act,” Paris told Ellen. “I saw that and I said, ‘Wow, I want to be just like him.’”
Paris said her father encouraged her and helped her develop her acting chops. The 13-year-old has been cast alongside Larry King in a film based on the new children’s book Lundon’s Bridge and the Three Keys, tentatively scheduled for a 2013 release.

While she has dreams of being famous, Paris remembers how hard her father tried to protect her from the curious public eye. Michael placed his children in masks or costumes to conceal them from the media. When she began attending school after Michael’s death in June 2009, no one recognized her.
“I was like, yes, I have a chance to be normal,” she said.
