Vanessa Paradis calls her kids “the world”
In her latest flick in Café de flore, Vanessa Paradis plays a devoted mother — a role she knows all too well in real life.
The French actress, model and singer (oh, yea, and Johnny Depp’s long-time love) said, “I understood this character as soon as I read the script. She had to be tough. She had to be both a mother and a father. She had to fight for this kid.”
Will Johnny and Vanessa have more kids?
Vanessa said motherhood taught her a very important lesson: “Johnny and I love our kids. They’re the world to us. But when you become a mother things change a lot. It’s not about you anymore. That’s a humbling lesson. I’m grateful that it found me and changed my life.”
Vanessa and Johnny are parents to daughter Lily-rose, 12, and Jack, 9.
