Christina Applegate says she has an angel in her house — daughter Sadie
In an interview featured in Parents magazine, Christina Applegate spoke about how she relates to her new character, Reagan, a career woman and new mom, in Up All Night.
Of relating to her character, Christina said, “I’m dealing with exactly the same things that my character is going through. I love working, but it is really hard to balance it all. I’ve had no sleep.”
When asked if she “can really have it all” Christina responded, “We’ll really have to examine that. I don’t want Reagan to be this hero that can do it all, because women don’t — they can’t!”
As for how she survives as a new parent, the actress, mom to daughter Sadie, said, Everything changes. It’s no longer about you anymore, which is great because you have this angel in your life and it’s okay to make those changes.”
