Flavor Flav is “the flyest grandpa a kid could have”

Flavor Flav (aka William Jonathan Drayton) is telling his life story — a story of drugs and grandchildren — in a new memoir.

A founding member of the 80s rap group Public Enemy, Flavor is now best known for his reality TV appearances on The Surreal Life, Strange Love and Flavor of Love.

Fellow rapper Snoop Dogg talks about his #1 priority… and his #1 regret

The iconic rap star says drugs had him “out of focus for about 18 years.” But now that his kids are adults and he himself is a grandfather, he’s ready to “knock of the bullsh** and take life more seriously.”

Flavor is “proud” to be a grandfather – so many of his fellow rappers didn’t live long enough to have such an experience. His grandchildren call him “Granddaddy.”

Flavor has seven children but he’s “working on” getting three more. Ten is the perfect number for him.
