Pink gushes about baby girl Willow
In a new interview with People, new celebrity parents Pink and Carey Hart introduce their baby girl Willow Sage, who was born on June 2.
In the interview, Pink gushes about motherhood and how her daughter has already changed her whole world. She said, “You hear people say it all the time, how life changes drastically. You can’t possibly grasp how beautiful [life] is until you have your child. I could sit and watch paint dry as long as she was in my arms.”
Willow, was named for Pink’s favorite tree because, much like Pink herself, it can “bend and withstand anything”. And the little girl has captured daddy Carey’s heart, too, which makes Pink love her husband even more.
She said, “I knew when I met him he’d be a great father, but watching him nurture her, I’ve never been so in love in my life. Carey is a natural. He calms her down like only my boob can.” Guess Pink is nursing…
And already, Willow is showing herself to be much like Mommy. Pink said she’d planned for a home birth, but ended up having a c-section because Willow was in the breech position. Pink quipped: “Turns out this little girl had other plans. She is my daughter after all.”
