Octomom Nadya Suleman has a $450,000 mortgage
Nadya Suleman, aka Octomom, got a reality check from Suze Orman on yesterday’s The Oprah Winfrey Show.
The 35-year-old mother of 14 children owes $450,000 in mortgage payments on her home in La Hambra.

Financial guru Orman took Octomom to task. “Why, when you couldn’t afford the six kids to begin with, would you even have thought about having one more kid, let alone eight more kids?”
It was 2009 when Nadya, a single mother-of-six who was on welfare, announced that?she was expecting octuplets. Nadya understood the financial hardships she faced but says she expanded her family out of an emotional need.

“I’m looking desperately outside myself and using an inappropriate filler to fill something that I should be filling from within,” said the controversial mother.
Nadya agreed with Oprah’s statement that she is addicted to having babies. “I still ask myself why,” Nadya said.
Do you feel sympathetic toward Octomom?

feel sympathetic toward octomom? hardly. feel most sympathetic for her children; they will feel the lack of attention, ability to go to college – unless they pay their own way, and quite possibly could be stuck in the lower realms of poverty. this woman should not even have one child, as she is still a child herself. this is one messy sad situation.

Sympathetic? Puhleeez!! Sympathy is saved for single moms raising kids with no help from deadbeat dads or family to help out. The ones that have struggled to get an education, find a job that doesn’t look down on single moms and their needs, providing their kids a safe place to live on their own, being the nice parent and mean parent, paying the bills and providing emotional support for their families while getting none in return. Think about it. No sympathy here.

I agree…leave the woman alone already. That Oprah show was ridiculous. Suze had points, yes(good ones for any of us) but they were both like “Tell THEEEEM” pointing to the audience “they don’t believe you.” Since when does this woman have to prove herself to all of America?? Just because the media caught wind of her delivery? She’s said herself that the media attention wasn’t something she asked for. Leave her alone, leave her to raise her kids, and stop being so BLOODY judgemental. People that throw such vicuous stones aren’t perfect themselves.
