Neil Patrick Harris loves being a dad
New dad Neil Patrick Harris is singing the praises of parenthood. He and partner David Burtka welcomed twins — son Gideon Scott and daughter Harper Grace — via surrogate six weeks ago.
And in that time the new celebrity parents have already learned a lot about parenthood… and the differences in their little ones!
Recently Neil Patrick Harris told CBS’ The Talk that Gideon “sleeps all the time” and is “a great burper!…Babies, they can burp!”
As for little Harper, she is a bit “fussier” due to “some sort of lower G.I. [problem]…she’s always working through something.”
He added:
It feels awful. All you want as a parent is to make sure they’re okay and that they’re comfortable.
After trying a new hypoallergenic formula and a consultation with an ostopath, things are looking up for Harper:
It was fantastic. [Harper] sort of snapped and was a different person. Super calm. Everything is much better.
Most importantly, fatherhood has brought new joy to Neil Patrick Harris and his longtime partner. He said,
I’ve never been happier.
These celebrity parents just seem made for parenthood! We are so happy for them.
