Tina Fey sums up parenthood

In an interview with Time Out New York Kids, Tina Fey, mom to 5-year-old Alice Zenobia with hubby composer Jeff Richmond, spoke about parenthood and raising her daughter in New York.

She said that “sacrificing her dignity for others” (referring to her alter ego Liz Lemon) is what parenthood is really all about!
As for residing in NYC’s Upper East Side, she said, “When I was growing up [in Upper Darby, Penn.], going to a museum was a big deal. It was a major day trip that you had to plan for. Here, you walk out your front door and five minutes later, bam! You’re staring at dinosaur bones. The proximity is great. Of course, if you ask Alice, she’ll say that all she wants is a yard.”
As a parent, you just can’t win, right?
