Marissa Jaret Winokur calls her son a ‘nightmare’
In a new interview with PARADE magazine, mom Marissa Jaret Winokur spoke about her new show The Talk and her, ahem, challenging times with her son, Zev.
She said, “Zev is now 2 years and 2 months old, so he’s a nightmare. I can’t reason with him yet. Like, if I open the door but he wanted to be the one who opened it, he throws himself on the floor, screaming. How could I know that he wanted to open the door?”
She continued: “I don’t really care what the doctors say to do about the terrible twos. The doctors will say ‘Do this!‘ or ‘Do that!‘. What I want to know is, what do other parents do. That’s just one reason to watch The Talk.”

She also said of her new show The Talk, which is set to premiere on Oct. 18: “On The Talk, I want to show real parents doing real things. I’m as real as it comes when it comes to being a parent. I know the stress that I have as a parent — meanwhile, I have a husband, and help with my son, and a career, and money. I don’t know how people do it with less.
