Kelis calls single motherhood “hard” yet “awesome”

In an interview with the UK’s Guardian, 31-year-old singer Kelis, mom to 14-month-old Knight with ex Nas, opened up about raising her son on her own.
Kelis comments on her natural childbirth
She said: “…it’s hard being a working, single mother.” But she quickly added that “on the flipside… it’s awesome, too.”

Kelis added, “I’m raising Knight how I think he should be raised. He’s a great baby.”

Who cares? Let Kelis be a single mother , she’s doing a great job so far. Post a “Real” topic… 70% of black women are single mothers and they don’t complain, why target Kelis?
