Whatever Woody Allen says goes, right? Well, if that’s the case, then Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem are going to have a “super” baby and be “great” parents.

Woody, who directed Penelope and Javier in Vicky Cristina Barcelona, commented to PEOPLE on the couple’s baby on the way news, saying: “I think it’s great. I’m crazy about both of them – Javier and Penélope. And I’m sure they’ll have a super baby, because their genes are award-winning.”

He added: “She’ll be great. And why not? I think he’ll be great as a father, and I think she’ll be a great mother. She’s a lovely person.”
