Crystal Bowersox is “at home” with her son
In a new interview with Redbook magazine, cocktail-waitress-turned-American-Idol-runner-up Crystal Bowersox spoke about the thing she’s spent the most money on since coming into a bit of celebrity status: her son.
She told Redbook, “The only thing I have splurged on is my son’s college fund. He has a college fund, and that makes me happy. I love to say that: ‘My son has a college fund.’ I never had one. My parents couldn’t do that for me. So I love that I’m now able to give that to Tony.”
After traveling this summer with the American Idol tour, Crystal said she wants to put down some roots for her and Tony. Meanwhile, she doesn’t mind being on the go… as long as her son is there. She said, “…as cheesy as this is, home to me is where the heart is. I’m very at home in my skin. I’m at home when my son is with me.”
