No natural birth planned for Bethenny Frankel

The Real Housewives of New York City does not mince words when it comes to her vision for the birth and delivery of her child — and it does not include a bathtub!

She told Usmagazine.com, “I’m too neurotic to give birth in my bathtub. I’d be like, ‘How are we ever going to clean this mess up?’ In the middle of labor, I’d be telling my assistant to get Brillo pads.”

She insists that she “doesn’t need to be a hero” and claims that “there will be drugs involved.”

She is looking to do one natural thing –  “I want to nurse,” she said.

Bethenny is expecting her first child in June with fiance Jason Hoppy, who the pregnant reality says is going to be a really good father.

She said, “He puts his head on the belly and talks to the baby, which is really cute. He’ll be like, ‘Hi baby. We can’t wait to meet you.’”

Beyonce’s rep refutes pregnancy rumors

On Thursday Media Take Out reported that Beyonce and hubby Jay-Z were expecting their first child together, even citing a “rock solid source” and stating the Beyonce is “fine and resting now” and planning to work throughout her pregnancy. However, that rumor has since been confirmed to be false.

A publicist for Sony, Beyonce’s record company, told Rolling Stone that information is “untrue.”

Beyonce and Jay-Z have been very private about their relationship and marriage. So, even when they do decide to have a child, we’re sure they’ll keep pretty mum about it. We hope they do decide to have a child, though. We think they’d be great parents!

Lourdes Leon, budding fashion designer

With a mom like Madonna, there is little chance that Lourdes Leon, 13, could have avoided getting the Material Mama’s fashion sense. And it turns out that Lourdes is a style maven in her own right.

The teen is actually designing a teen clothing line called Material Girl for Macy’s — in collaboration with her mom.

Madonna told Us Weekly, “I did a line for H&M, which I enjoyed, but it was a lot of work. I thought, I don’t want to give up the rest of my careers, so I’m not going to do my own line again. But I have a 13-year-old with tireless energy who wanted to do this. I’ve been involved in business meetings, but Lola’s really doing the work. I just sit in the corner on my BlackBerry!”

And would you believe that Madonna herself admits it’s ironic that she wishes her daughter would dress more conservatively.

Mario Lopez wants to keep baby-on-the-way’s sex a surprise

Extra host and father-to-be Mario Lopez spoke to Ellen DeGeneres on Friday’s episode of her show about his baby on the way with girlfriend Courtney Mazza.

He revealed that his decision to keep the baby’s sex a surprise until the delivery room has ruffled the feathers of some of his family and friends.

“People are very upset that I’m not finding out what the sex is going to be,” he said. “I think that is one of life’s great surprises. I want to be, ‘Oh, it’s a girl’ and ‘Oh, it’s a boy.’”

He isn’t concerned about receiving neutral-gender gifts. He said, “I’ll be all right with gifts and maybe a coat of paint on the wall.”

He also asked Ellen to help him come up with some name ideas. As of now, he and Courtney don’t have any in the running.

Amy Poehler shows off baby bump

Parks and Recreation star Amy Poehler announced recently via her rep that she and hubby Will Arnett are expecting their second child, though a due date was not revealed.

However, it appears that she is early on in her pregnancy — as she debuted a cute little bump at the Worldwide Orphans Foundation Benefit Reception held at the Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica, California, on March 18.

No other details about the pregnancy have been revealed. Amy and Will are already parents to 17-month-old son Archie.

We hope she decides to share the news about the baby’s due date and sex and – and if – they find out!

Scott Wolf admits he was hungover when son was born

On a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Scott Wolf, dad to one-year-old Jackson Kayse, spoke about his sobering experience in the delivery room — literally!

He shared: “I was in Vancouver and my wife calls early on a Saturday morning. She’s like, ‘It’s happening; you gotta get on a plane.’ Unfortunately, the night before we were at a drinking establishment and we had gotten over-served. So I basically got on a plane and was recovering the whole way.”

He added, “He actually hung in there those last few hours. I think he was letting me sober up! [He was thinking,] ‘This guy is not ready for me yet!’”

Since his birth, Scott and Kelley have been a bit derailed from their original parenting plan. He explained: “You start out with all these rules — we’re not going to feed him sugar, we’re not going to swear after 9 — and then it gets to a point where you realize if he’s happy… It gets to the point where my wife is like, ‘Honey, he’s eating Skittles and watching Scarface,‘ and I’m like, ‘Does he seem happy? Get out of there! That’s a good movie.’”

Ricky Martin inspired by his twins to come out

On his website Rickymartinmusic.com, singer Ricky Martin recently revealed that he is indeed gay, as many had guessed.

He wrote: “I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am.”

But it was his twin sons, who will be 2 in August, that inspired him to come out officially.

He wrote: “To keep living as I did up until today would be to indirectly diminish the glow that my kids were born with. These years in silence and reflection made me stronger and reminded me that acceptance has to come from within and that this kind of truth gives me the power to conquer emotions I didn’t even know existed.”

Becoming a parent certainly can inspire people in many ways!
