Julie Bowen jokes about loose flesh and biting during breast feeding
Mom of three boys — Oliver McLanahan, 2 1/2, and 9-month-old (as of next week!) twins John and Gus — Julie Bowens takes certain parts of motherhood with a grain of salt.
She joked in an interview with Celebrity Baby Blog about her role in Modern Family and how she’s often having to do some revealing scenes. “I don’t know. I think they just think it’s funny that I had twins and — maybe they’re saying — ‘She fought to lose the weight, now we’re just going to get her naked as much [as possible].’ I have no idea.”
She continued, “There’s loose flesh in places most people shouldn’t have flesh. You know what? I’ve given birth. They’d better take care of me when I’m old, that’s all I can say.”
Of her twins, she shared that they are teething and thus taking to nibbling while they are feeding. She said, “[They're] biting me while breastfeeding. How’s that for fun? My older one did the same thing sometimes. It’s not a party but you get past it.”
