Poppy Montgomery is taking time off for her son
Since her little man Jackson Phillip Deveraux was born 20 months ago, mama Poppy Montgomery has been working. But all that is about to change. The actress told Celebrity Baby Blog, “I am going to take the rest of this year just to be with him.”
She plans to “re-evaluate” the situation in January when Jackson begins preschool. In the meantime, “We’re just hanging out,” Poppy said. “We have a toddler group and we go to the park…I’m just ‘Mom,’ which has been really fun for me.”
The 37-year-old actress added that her son is a little rebel in the making, and that he is currently, “testing every boundary under the sun.” But that even makes mama proud!
She said, “Everything he is not supposed to do, he wants to do. I’m like, ‘Good for you, buck the system, rebel!’”
